Client Service Representative and Certified Veterinary Technician

April grew up with all kinds of animals and has always had a heart for their health and well-being. So, what better fit than a lifelong career in veterinary medicine after receiving her accreditation as a certified veterinary technician. She has spent the majority of her career in mixed animal practices taking care of dogs, cats, alpacas, goats, cattle and horses, training in equine bodywork techniques and most recently focusing on equine specific care with Black Diamond and always eager to learn and improve her skills in equine health and wellness.

April enjoys working at Black Diamond Equine, where she gets to combine her love for horses with her passion for hands-on care every day. With years of experience working alongside horses and their owners, she enjoys rolling up her sleeves and tackling whatever challenges come her way—whether it’s a routine check-up or an emergency call. She prides herself on keeping a positive attitude, working well with the team, and making sure clients and their horses feel supported.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll probably find April outdoors—taking care of her horses, out bike riding with her husband, or spending quality time with her family and friends.
